HF-Offshore & Blue Installation GmbH
Project:
Installation of the 2,500-ton wellhead platform deck Yaxche Ai, Mexico
Float-Tech Involvement:
Float-Tech provided Blue Installation GmbH with the lead engineering for the project and coordinated and supervised engineering activities as well as associated procurement. During offshore operations, Float-Tech provided a site engineer to lead and oversee the lifting operations.
Project:

Float-Tech provided Blue Installation GmbH with the lead engineering for the project and coordinated and supervised engineering activities as well as associated procurement. During offshore operations, Float-Tech provided a site engineer to lead and oversee the lifting operations.
HF Offshore / T&T Salvage
Project: Golden Ray Wreck Removal, Brunswick Sound, Georgia, USA
Project Overview:
The 20,000-ton RoRo vessel Golden Ray capsized and sank in the Brunswick Sound, Georgia, USA. T&T Salvage was contracted for the wreck removal operations.
Float-Tech Involvement:
Float-Tech provided HF-Offshore with engineering services for the project. In addition, Float-Tech supported offshore operations by providing a site engineer during the execution phase.

Project: Structural Repairs of Heavylift Vessel TX10,000, Texas, US
Project Overview:
The heavylift vessel TX10,000 sustained structural damage to its gantries following a grounding incident in Mexico.
Float-Tech Involvement:
Float-Tech developed the repair concept for HF Offshore and executed the structural design, including strength simulations for temporary conditions with removed structures. Float-Tech provided a site engineer for sourcing the required equipment and to lead the repair works on site.

HF-Offshore / mooring
Project: Preparation of a dockside mooring arrangement in Hurricane area
Project:
Shoreside Anchors and piles had to be designed and installed for a 6,000 ton Heavy Lift Vessel that was to be moored in a location prone to Hurricanes in Texas, US.
Float-Tech Involvement:
Float-Tech provided HF Offshore with the general arrangement and the detailed design of components. Float-Tech provided a site engineer to coordinate the procurement, and to supervise the installation operations.

Project: Supervision and consultancy services for a newbuild Commissioning Service Operation vessel CSOV
Project Overview:
The vessel was built in Indonesia and was designed for operations in offshore wind farms in Taiwan.
Float-Tech Involvement:
Float-Tech monitored the fabrication progress, quality of fabrication and system installation, led the local site team and reported to the client.

Project: Design and strength calculations for an 800 ton modular spreader bar
Float-Tech Involvement:
Float-Tech carried out the strength calculation and provided the structural design for the spreader bars that are used on SAL´s ORCA class vessels.

Project: Global FEA calculations on a Joint Support Ship (JSS) for the Canadian Navy
Float-Tech Involvement:
Float-Tech performed calculations to analyze the global bending behavior of the drive train alignment. Several conditions were examined, including installation on the slipway, alignment at the yard´s pier and sea-going conditions, to establish minimum and maximum deflections.

A PanMax bulk carrier grounded on a reef in the Red Sea due to failure of the vessel´s GPS system.

Float-Tech provided the ballast plan and the Naval Architect on-site during the salvage operations.
